This technology turns windows into walls. Engineer Steve Abadi originally proposed the glass in 1982. In 2003 he brought it to life through his company, Innovative Glass. Their eGlass frosts over for privacy. A switch applies an electric current to a film inside the glass. This causes the crystal molecules to align, letting light pass through.
