LC Privacy Film, a Retrofit Solution For this installation, the client wanted to create a semi-private office and conference room for the Dean of the University. Initially, they had added decorative glass walls with a swiss-dot "distraction" design to create the illusion of privacy. It took about a week until they realized that it was not giving them what they wanted and they needed a better solution. Since it was too late and too big of a job to replace all the glass, electronic LC Privacy Film was installed over the existing glass — creating a decorative / switchable privacy design. With electronic LC Privacy Glass, the Dean was able to control when the glass was transparent — or when it was opaque for complete privacy.
